Flattering me® Bridal Bra Size & Fitting Instructions

Finding the perfect strapless bra is right at your fingertips! Designer Coco Abadi has created a patented long line strapless bra that gives support, cleavage and comfortability all at the same time. It is does not show through most bridal gowns, it contours the body and is perfect for wedding dresses that have low bustlines and backs. It is important to measure yourself and follow the sizing instructions below to achieve the perfect size and fit. Do not rely on measurements taken in the past or the bra size you think you wear, as the Flattering me® Bridal Bra accounts for three very important factors- correct bra size, waist measurement and length of torso.

FACT: Did you know that 70% of women in the world wear the wrong size bra? We all know that the most important feature of any bra is the fit, and yet many women go through life wearing the wrong bra size. The mistake many women make is to settle for a bra that's close enough, rather than finding one that's perfect. It's very important to wear a properly fitting bra not only for comfort, but also for your health. A properly fitting bra can alleviate strain on the back and shoulders as well as keeping the breast tissue from breaking down.

Three Steps to Finding your Correct Flattering me® Bra Size

Step 1. Calculate your perfect bra size
Step 2. Compare your waist measurements to the Flattering me® measurement chart
Step 3. Determine your torso length

ButtonArrow.jpgMeasure over the skin (not over clothing) with a regular unpadded bra

 #1 Measure Underbust

Keep the tape parallel to the floor (straight across), making sure that the tape is flat over your skin and not loose. Pull the tape measure tight to ensure an accurate measurement. If you are measuring yourself, we recommend standing in front of a mirror to make sure the tape measure is parallel to the floor. Before you read the number on the tape measure, make sure your arms are down and your shoulders relaxed.

Enter Underbust measurement here:

Note: Round your results up or down, depending on the fractions of an inch (or cm). If less than 1/2 inch (or 1/2 cm), round down. If 1/2 inch (or 1/2 cm) or more, round up.
Do not put decimals in the box.

 #2: Measure Bustline

Measure over the fullest part of your bustline and keep the tape parallel to the floor (straight across). This time, don't pull the tape measure tight, just make sure it's not loose. Again, before you read the number on the tape measure, remember to have your arms down and your shoulders relaxed.

Enter Bustline Measurement here:

Note: Round your results up or down, depending on the fractions of an inch (or cm). If less than 1/2 inch (or 1/2 cm), round down. If 1/2 inch (or 1/2 cm) or more, round up.
Do not put decimals in the box.

Measure Waistline

Measure your natural waistline. Hold the tape taut to loose and measure the smallest part of your waistline.

Long line bras fit around your complete torso, therefore you need to consider your waist measurement for the correct fit of this bra. Check the chart below, to determine if your waist measurement matches the corresponding waist for the Flattering Me Bra size you have chosen.

Example: If your perfect Flattering me® bra size was 34C and your waist measurement is 26 inches, then the Flattering me® long line strapless bra size 34C should fit you perfectly. But if your waist measurement was bigger or smaller than the ones showing on the chart, then you will need to contact us to recommend you with the right size. When contacting us, please provide the following measurements: bust, underbust, waist and the bra size you normally wear.

3.jpgStep 3: Determine Torso Length > Standard or Petite

The meaning of Petite has been confused through the years. People think that Petite means skinny and short, and that is not true, the word Petite means - short torso. In general most of the Petite people are short, but you could be 5'8" and still have a short torso with long legs.

YOU are the best person to know if you have a Petite torso or not.

  1. Do you sometime buy Petite Blouses and they fit you better?
  2. When you try on fitted dresses or blouses, does the fabric in front (below your bustline) get loose and baggy? That's because it is too long for your torso.
  3. Watch yourself in front of a mirror and see if you have a short torso and your hips are high
