James Mischka and Mark Badgley of Badgley Mischka definitely had Evita in mind when designing their 1950s Buenos Aires inspired Resort collection for 2011.

The columnar silhouette is central to these retro-inspired bridesmaid gowns. Most of the bridesmaid dresses in the collection are simply elegant with clean, long lines designed to show off a slim body.

-FORD Models hit the runway in Badgley Mischka: Scroll down to picture #5. I love this gown. OK, well I love the color, and I love the skirt. If it were me, I’d choose a different style for the bodice, but otherwise I love it. This is the one gown I’ve seen from Badgley Mischka that really popped out and caught my attention.
