Yes, I know. It’s cold outside. The ground is covered in almost a foot of snow here in Wisconsin, while other parts of the country are frozen under a solid sheet of ice. While the holidays may be just around the corner, it’s not too early to start talking spring. We’re gearing up for the official 2011 wedding season, and we know you are too. Picture the bride, wrapped in a chic fur stole. An elegant bed and breakfast with stained glass windows decorated for a Victorian Christmas. Flower girls and bridesmaids in buttoned-up Victorian era boots under vintage gowns. But don’t stop there. While a winter wedding may the ideal backdrop for a vintage wedding, it’s also an excellent choice for a more modern wedding.

And don’t forget, you can save a lot of money when planning a winter wedding! Winter is generally considered the ‘off’ season as far as weddings are concerned. So, you may be able to find tons of discounts on wedding items during these colder months.
