As a Wisconsin girl, I always considered food on a stick a novelty reserved for daring diners at the annual State Fair. Gems like cheesecake, deep fried butter, chocolate covered bacon and deep fried PB & J are just a few of the things fair goers could enjoy skewered on a stick this past summer.

The UPS man surprised me this morning with 3 big boxes… my new 2011 sample pack of wedding favors from Kate Aspen. We’ll soon have these awesome wedding favors available on Knot The Groom.
I got a ton of these wedding favors in my sample pack, and let me tell you… I have to admit that I was a little surprised at the quality. Before today, when I thought about wedding favors, what came to mind were those cheap little match boxes with the name of the bride and groom on the cover. I honestly can’t think of a single wedding I have attended where I left with a wedding favor that I would not only want to hold on to forever, but also something I could actually use. But guess what, I will definitely be using most of these favors!
I think my son thought I was nuts as I opened my boxes and exclaimed over item after item. Read more »
