Yes, I know. It’s cold outside. The ground is covered in almost a foot of snow here in Wisconsin, while other parts of the country are frozen under a solid sheet of ice. While the holidays may be just around the corner, it’s not too early to start talking spring. We’re gearing up for the official 2011 wedding season, and we know you are too. So, let’s switch gears and start talking green! Environmentally green, that is. No matter what the weather, you can always add ‘green’ wedding décor to your list and throw an amazing eco-themed wedding.
Dance the night away on these dance floor decals which are personalized with the names of the bride and groom. These fabulous vinyl wedding dance floor decals are made with a low-stick material that makes them easily removable after your big day.
The color purple and butterflies all in one place? What could be better? I love the wedding cake pictured below with its delicate butterflies and lilies, which are some of my all-time favorite flowers.
Butterflies can be paired with a variety of color themes. The pastels above are great for a spring wedding, especially with the butterfly favor boxes (bottom right.) You could provide the butterfly wine stopper favors for the adults and the favor boxes or book marks for the kids. By purchasing a variety of favors in the same theme, you up the chances that your guests will find something they want to take home with them.
Ah, the beach wedding… sunshine and clouds or a beautiful sunset reflected on the water in the background of all of your most beautiful wedding pictures… A gentle breeze wafting through your wedding veil, combined with the sounds of the crashing waves and the scents of seawater, sand and sun… Is it any wonder beach weddings are so popular in recent years?
Beach weddings can be so simple, especially if you plan a destination wedding and invite only a few close friends and family members. You can save a lot of money on tuxes and other formal wear by opting for a more casual look to complement the casual venue. And the natural beauty of the beach needs little decorating.
But, you don’t have to sacrifice personalization just because you are getting married far from home. Many of the items shown at right can easily be tossed into a suitcase and brought along to personalize your wedding décor.
I love how the sunshine and clouds reflect on the water in front of the bride and groom at right, but you don’t have to hold your wedding at the beach to create the beach affect. If you are planning a beach themed wedding away from the beach, this matching wedding décor is a great way to bring your look together.
The aqua coloring of the personalized wedding cake topper, dance floor decal and window cling is perfect for the beach, but if aqua isn’t your color, don’t despair. These also come in a variety of other colors to meet your individual needs.
And, the beach weddings toasting flutes are an elegant addition to your special day.
