Yes, I know. It’s cold outside. The ground is covered in almost a foot of snow here in Wisconsin, while other parts of the country are frozen under a solid sheet of ice. While the holidays may be just around the corner, it’s not too early to start talking spring. We’re gearing up for the official 2011 wedding season, and we know you are too. So, let’s switch gears and start talking green! Environmentally green, that is. Beach weddings can be so simple, especially if you plan a destination wedding and invite only a few close friends and family members. You can save a lot of money on tuxes and other formal wear by opting for a more casual look to complement the casual venue. And the natural beauty of the beach needs little decorating.

I love how the sunshine and clouds reflect on the water in front of the bride and groom at right, but you don’t have to hold your wedding at the beach to create the beach affect.
