Other news on the Royal Wedding front? Well, it looks like musician, James Blunt, is all set to play the organ at Westminster Abbey for Will and Kate’s wedding on April 29th. Blunt recently told Italian news channel SkyTG24 that he will not be singing for the royal couple, but will merely be playing the organ for their wedding ceremony.

Bruce Oldfield is still a top contender to design Kate Middleton’s wedding dress. Check out Good Morning America’s interview with Oldfield:

While Bruce Oldfield will neither confirm nor deny his involvement in creating Katherine’s bridal gown, he did admit that plans are afoot for him to dress many of Will and Kate’s wedding guests. Oldfield does venture to guess that Kate’s wedding gown will have sleeves and that she will be sporting a bridal veil on her big day. Read more »

red monogramCheck out Good Morning America’s royal wedding diary update for the latest news on the Royal wedding of Prince William of Wales and Kate Middleton… that is, Catherine as we should now call her! Reporter Nick Watt provides coverage, directly from England, of the wedding etiquette and traditions which must be met by the Royal couple.

One tradition Will and Kate will be bunking is the tradition of the monogram. While the American tradition is to use the bride and groom’s first initials to the left and right of their last initial as shown at right, British royals generally consists of two initials with the groom’s first. The Will and Kate Update: Bruce Oldfield to Design Royal Wedding Gown

While palace insiders have confirmed Kate Middleton has indeed chosen a designer for her bridal gown, they have not yet released the details of whom she has chosen. However, those in the know speculate that it will be Bruce Oldfield, a favorite of Prince William’s late mother, the Princess Diana.

In other royal wedding news, the Queen has reportedly offered to allow Will and Kate to live at Buckingham Palace after their April 29th wedding. But, will they take her up on this generous offer?
