Titanium Rhapsody: Wedding Color Inspiration

Posted on October 7th, 2012 by annalemberger

Feel glamorous, feminine, and fresh at a sparkling silver and lavender toned wedding! The greyed-down purple Rhapsody pairs well with the neutral Titanium from Pantone’s Fall Color Report and are an especially perfect combination for those chillier months. Glittering details in your accessories, table decor, and even the cake will give your wedding an edgier, party feel as you move from the ceremony to the dance floor. It is your special day, after all; so step out as a newlywed with a little flash!

Ring in the new year and toast to good health and cheer at a crystal and blue frosted New Year’s Eve party!  The party’s crystal chandeliers and blue lighting will pale in comparison to your brilliant blue evening gown and timeless jewels. New Year’s Eve is the perfect time to be dressed to the nines so don’t shy away from the bling. Let the bubbly flow when the clock strikes midnight! And always remember the first moments of 2012 with personalized, engraved toasting flutes.

Color Splash: Solar Power Wedding Inspiration

Posted on December 5th, 2011 by annalemberger

Keep warm this winter or plan ahead for your spring wedding with a sunny yellow color splash. The color experts and trend setters at Pantone have chosen Solar Power as one of the colors for Spring 2012. It is difficult not to smile or feel unloved when surrounded in this warm color. Make the stunning rays of this color truly stand out by pairing with a cooler tone, like silver. Pantone’s “Solar Power” provides more than a color inspiration; go green at your wedding by using solar powered accent lights or by letting natural sunlight illuminate your wedding.

Wedding Inspirations: Winter Wonderland

Posted on November 4th, 2010 by Mandy Webster

Winter wedding collage with silver accentsWinter is on its way. It’s time to start thinking about those winter weddings. Whether you’re planning your nuptials for this winter or next, there is a wide variety of things you can do to set the right tone for your winter wonderland wedding.

Silver and snowflakes are a perfect mix for the winter wedding. The snowflake wine stoppers at right are fascinating wedding favors which can double as table decor. The cobalt blue wine bottle pictured with these creative wedding favors is perfect for the winter wedding.

The lettered rhinestone crystal cake toppers are perfect with a white wedding cake and white roses. Create your own fabulous monogram from these shining letters crafted of sterling silver-plated metal and accented with genuine Swarovski crystals. Each scripted letter is accented with sparkling stones.

While the silver flame glitter evening shoe may leave your delicate tootsies a little cool in the winter, I couldn’t help adding them to this inspiration board. The glittery silver just looks so right with the silver snowflake motif. Choose these for a wedding venue where you will be indoors for the most part, and grab a pair of fuzzy UGGs or something similar to keep your feet warm in case you do need to venture outside.

Check this Out:

-Check out this winter wedding on the Style Me Pretty bridal inspirations blog. I love the bride’s fur wrap, and the green of the bridesmaid dresses really POP against the snow in the background.

-Speaking of wraps, the ‘little winter bride: vintage indie wedding style’ blog has a great post on wedding boleros, shrugs and caplets.

-This winter wedding inspiration from Elizabeth Anne Designs is absolutely elegant.  I love the natural elements of the evergreens and pine cones mixed with miniature white calla lilies.
