Trend Alert: DIY Bunting

Posted on December 16th, 2012 by annalemberger

Say it loud and say it proud with fun and creative bunting! These festive strings of colorful patterns and personalized triangles have been popping up in a lot of weddings recently. Bunting is a simple and inexpensive way to really dress up a wedding or other special event. With New Year’s just weeks away, this string of letters would look great over your champaign toast table as it exclaims “Happy New Year!”

Summer Cool Down: Fall Wedding Inspiration

Posted on August 8th, 2012 by annalemberger

With the fall wedding season right around the corner, it is time to start finishing off the watermelon and pulling out the gourds.  This summer’s hot and steamy weather makes it difficult to even think about the cool, crisp air and brilliant colors of autumn. But with record high temperatures this summer many fall brides are probably excited for a little cool weather as they walk down the aisle. To help get in the autumnal mood, check out some of my favorite fall themed wedding accessories and decor.

Check out my post about a real farm wedding I attended last fall in Pennsylvania.  I love the rustic and “home grown” details like the chalkboard and the whoopie pies.

Blooming Romance Wedding Inspiration

Posted on June 25th, 2012 by annalemberger

Romance is in the air this week with our flower inspired wedding board!  Vintage touches, natural decor, and pops of bright, floral color will brighten your flower-powered wedding ceremony and reception. Fragrant, frosted, fabricated – showcase a variety of floral elements and textures beyond the fresh cut. I love the idea of felt boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen. They look awesome and will last forever in your wedding scrapbook! Having trouble choosing a color duo? Who says you need just two! Work in a spectrum of warm shades from sunny yellow to rosy pink to vibrant red. A shock of teal makes a fun statement against the the warmer tones. If there is not enough brightness in your wedding already, unite your lives with a beautiful candle ceremony.
