Los Invitaciones de Quinceañera, or the Quinceañera Invitations, are one of the most important elements to consider when planning your Quinceañera. When creating your Quinceañera Invitations, it is essential to include the basic Who, What, When, and Where of your festivities along with a few personal elements to showcase the young lady of the day.

The Who of your Invitaciones de Quinceañera must include the name of the Quinceañera (of course,) as well as the names of the party hosts (usually the parents,) and the names of the Quinceañera’s court members.
When writing your Quinceañera Invitations, it is also important to inform your guests of exactly what the party is for. Make it known that this is your little girl’s Quinceañera rather than the average birthday party, so guests know exactly what to expect.
Be sure to inform your guests of such elements as the appropriate attire to wear to the event so they don’t accidentally show up dressed for a 10-year-old’s backyard barbeque. Remember, your family friends and distant relatives probably don’t keep track of your age as much as you might think. Many of your guests may not have seen you in years. And, time passes so quickly, all of those nieces and nephews of your nieces and nephews are grown before you realize it. So, don’t expect your guests to guess that this party is the big one: the Quinceañera. Spell it out on the Invitaciones de Quinceañera to avoid confusion.
Of course, you’ll want to include the “when” of your festivities in all of your Quinceañera Invitations. Depending on the complexity of your plans, you may wish to include an itinerary outlining an expected time for each part of the day, from the Quinceañera Mass to the reception afterward.
And don’t forget to tell your guests where you will be on the big day! The Quinceañera Mass is often held at a church with the reception following at a different location. So, make sure your guests know where the guest of honor will be throughout the day. You might also wish to include directions or a simple map with your Quinceañera Invitations to help out-of-town guests find their way.
The Personal Touch
A photo of the Quinceañera is an excellent personal touch that you might consider adding to your Invitaciones de Quinceañera. You may choose to either purchase specially made Quinceañera Invitations designed to showcase the photo, or just slip a loose photo inside each invitation.
Another way to add a personal touch is to include some sort of tiny trinket that highlights the Quinceañera’s personality. For example, you might add a tiny feather, a butterfly, or stickers of the Quinceañera’s favorite rock star. A favorite poem, book quote, or Bible verse printed on a slip of paper is another excellent option.
